However, can be mixed / layered over another cream eyeshadow.

Glitter will not allow a smooth application. Not ideal to be used as base/primer for powder eyeshadows on top.Has a little fall out by EOD – nothing which concerns me too much.

I got about 8hours of wear time, which is great and is as good as the regular paint pots.

The staying power seemed the same as other paint pots – did not seem exceptionally long as the name suggests – Pro Longwear – claiming 12 hours of crease free colour. However, I ended up putting more product resulting in the caking. The sparkle is more visible once it dries off. In some of the pics it may seem a little cakey – that is because initially, I used too much product. More Buying Choices 16.

I applied one on each lid and checked with couple of SAs – both MAC and non-MAC for what seemed better. Painterly is just my go-to when it comes to eyeshadow primers.I finally shortlisted it down to Vintage Selection – champagne colour with frosty sheen OR Let Me Pop – a coppery gold colour with distinct glitter. It helps to stop my eyeshadows creasing and is one of the few products that can do that so thats an A+ in my book. I find Painterly amazing as an eyeshadow primer, it helps to keep colours true to what they are in the pan and it makes them more vibrant. I don't usually wear Painterly alone like I would with Bare Study but if I am in a rush it works wonders to help conceal and cover the veins on my eyelids. Painterly is a classic nude beige that has a matte finish. Moving on to Painterly, this cream eyeshadow in my eyes is quite a bit different to Bare Study. I myself tend to have oily eyelids so I can sometimes struggle to keep creamy products in place for a long period of time, now with Bare Study I do have apply an eyelid primer before use (Elf eyelid primer/Too Faced Shadow Insurance work a treat) to make sure that it doesn't crease on me, that would be the only downside to this product in my eyes. It reflects light beautifully and is definitely one of those products that is perfect if you are in a rush and don't want to go out with completely nothing on your eyes. Lets start with Bare Study it is such a gorgeous golden beige champagne colour.
